Shoot Report – Peter Saich

Thanks to Andy and Matt and other helpers for the set up and also thank you to those who stayed to help clear up and get the equipment safely stored away. Any additional help at the end of a long morning is greatly appreciated.

There was a great turnout today with 48 people shooting including 35 members. We only had 44 cards returned so please remind your guests that we would like their cards returned in case they wish to join in the future.

The average score today was 36 compared to 42 last month. Yet more new and interesting targets including a stratospheric driven Midi – Who let Andy buy a new spring? The unexpected sun was a bit of a handicap on some stands – serves us right for listening to the weather forecast which predicted cloudy conditions….

Glen Boxall had the top score in AA Class with 50. Trevor McCabe won his first A Class Trophy with the Club with a good score of 46, one ahead of Peter Saich who was shooting with his side by side.

There was a great score of 47 from Nigel Hebburn to win B Class, and Adrian Smith won C Class with 33, just ahead of Stuart Hulme on 31 and Otis Oakford (J) on 30.

In the Surrey CPSA Side by Side event run concurrently with our monthly shoot, Chip Smith shot a superb 52 to retain the Trophy. Peter Saich was second with 45 and Scott Marshall was third with 44.

In the non Surrey CPSA members class, Matt Oldland triumphed over Andy Willett to take the Webley and Scott Trophy.
